You are not necessarily what you eat. You would think that ingesting something would raise its levels in your body and for most nutrients this is true. Ingesting vitamins raises your vitamin levels. Indulging in sweets ups your blood sugar, but unless you are diabetic, only to a point. Then the body regulates it.
